  1. Can you please clarify the text below? My 6th grader received a 565 on the end of year iReady math assessment, which according to the percentile chart above places him in the 98th percentile. However, according to the text below, his score would not even be considered “good” for his grade level. I believe you did not update this page for math and are using the “good” ratings for iReady reading.

    What is a good iReady Diagnostic score?
    A “good” iReady score depends on the student’s grade level. In general, scores that align with or exceed the expected grade-level range are considered good.

    Kindergarten: 340–360 (Mid-year goal)
    1st Grade: 380–400
    2nd Grade: 420–440
    3rd Grade: 460–480
    4th Grade: 500–520
    5th Grade: 540–560
    6th Grade: 580–600
    7th Grade: 620–640
    8th Grade: 660–680
    Is 400 a good diagnostic score?
    A score of 400 is typically appropriate for 1st grade or early 2nd grade. It may not be considered strong for higher grade levels.
